The combination of two Prep 100 dual-head digital pumps with pressure monitoring meet the flow requirements for applications in the semi-preparative to preparative range.
The standard Prep 100 pump, which includes a built-in pulse damper, is capable of delivering flows with low pulsation - less than 2% RSD at the maximum flow rate of 100 mL/min (at 3000 psi). Self-flushing pump heads actively wash the region behind the high-pressure pump seals, dramatically extending seal life when buffers are used as mobile phase.
The maximum operating pressure in this flow rate range is 4000 psi. The maximum flow rate in isocratic mode is 200 mL/min. Linear binary gradient profiles can be accomplished using the two-pump system; the maximum flow rate possible in this mode is 100 mL/min. |

Prep 200 System is a smart, compact keypad unit that provides complete control of solvent delivery, sample injection, isocratic/gradient program, run duration, four time-configurable TTL events, and number of repeating cycles. The SCU display continuously monitors the current cycle and elapsed time. In gradient mode, the SCU will control a single-step linear gradient using the two combined prep pumps. The gradient feature also incorporates an equilibrium delay prior to the gradient ramp and a delay time for return to initial conditions.
Flow rates may be modified from the SCU at any time during the run. The 'hold', 'continue', and 'abort' commands allow control of flow rate and run sequence. |
